The topic of your enquiry, your message, preferred times and timezone.

Consultation booking details, attendance information and correspondence.

Payment information such as the amount, payment date and bank-transfer reference. UKShuke does not ask for online-banking passwords or payment-card details.

Newsletter preferences if a newsletter service is introduced.

Brand, campaign and collaboration information that you choose to provide.

Information collected automatically

Technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, timestamps and pages requested.

Security, error and server logs used to operate and protect the website.

Cookie or similar identifiers, where permitted. See the Cookie Policy.

Interaction information from embedded or linked services such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, depending on your settings and whether you use those services.

3. How and why we use information

To respond to enquiries and take steps requested before a consultation contract is made. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract and, where relevant, legitimate interests in responding to genuine enquiries.

To arrange, deliver and administer paid consultations. The lawful basis is performance of a contract.

To administer payments, refunds, tax records and accounting. The lawful basis is performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations.

To manage brand or media enquiries. The lawful basis is taking pre-contract steps and legitimate interests in managing UKShuke’s commercial relationships.

To secure, troubleshoot and improve the website, prevent spam and misuse, and understand basic service performance. The lawful basis is legitimate interests in operating a safe and effective website. Where the law requires cookie consent, consent is used instead.

To send newsletters or other direct marketing. The lawful basis is consent, unless another lawful basis is clearly permitted. You can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Sensitive information

Please do not send passport copies, biometric residence permits, visa application documents, medical information, bank login details or other sensitive material through the enquiry form. UKShuke consultations do not provide regulated immigration or legal advice. Unnecessary sensitive information may be deleted.

5. Who receives your information

UKShuke shares personal information only where reasonably necessary with service providers that help operate the website and consultations, which may include:

WordPress hosting, security, backup and technical-support providers.

Cloudflare for website security, traffic routing and performance.

Google services, including Gmail, YouTube and related account services.

Zoom for online consultations.

UKShuke’s bank and relevant payment or accounting services for bank transfers and financial records.

Newsletter, analytics or consent-management providers if introduced and described in the live website settings.

Professional advisers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or public authorities where disclosure is necessary or legally required.

UKShuke does not sell personal information.

6. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, UKShuke will rely on an adequacy regulation, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism. 7. How long we keep information

General or unsuccessful enquiries: normally up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact.

Consultation, contract, complaint and payment records: normally up to six years where reasonably needed for tax, accounting or legal claims.

Brand and collaboration enquiries: normally up to two years after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is needed for an active contract or legal reason.

Newsletter records: until you unsubscribe, followed by a minimal suppression record where needed to respect your choice.

Security and technical logs: for the shortest period reasonably necessary, subject to the retention settings of the relevant provider.

Information may be kept for longer where required by law, to resolve a dispute or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

UKShuke uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. These include secure website connections, access controls, anti-spam and rate-limiting controls, software updates and authenticated email delivery. No online system is completely secure, so information should be limited to what is necessary.

Paid consultations are intended for people aged 18 or over. A parent or legal guardian must contact UKShuke on behalf of anyone under 18. UKShuke does not knowingly offer paid consultations directly to children.

The website may link to or display content from other services. Those organisations control their own use of personal information. Review their privacy information before interacting with them.
